The Functional Medicine Package is designed for patients who are ready to get started right away. Your initial bloodwork is ordered before your first appointment, allowing Dr. Goldberg to begin your evaluation with important information already in hand.
A Faster Path to Answer
If you’re eager to get started, the Functional Medicine Package offers an expedited path forward.
Unlike a General Visit, where testing is determined after your initial evaluation, your initial bloodwork is ordered when you register for the Functional Medicine Package. This means Dr. Goldberg has important laboratory results available earlier in the process, allowing you to hit the ground running.
You’ll also receive package pricing on included laboratory testing compared with purchasing those tests individually.

Dr. Sharon Goldberg
is a board-certified internal medicine physician (practicing since 2000) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine, trained through the Institute for Functional Medicine and certified in the Bredesen ReCODE 2.0 protocol.
Program Timeline (4–6 Months)
Day 1 — Initial Intake (60 minutes)
We start with your full story: your medical history, the timeline of events leading up to how you feel now, a detailed physical exam, and a review of your testing. You’ll leave with an initial lifestyle plan and clear next steps for your labs.
Month 1 — Follow-Up #1 (60 minutes)
We go through your full lab results together and build your initial treatment plan — supplements, diet, lifestyle changes, and any additional testing that makes sense for you.
Months 2–3 — Follow-Up #2 (60 minutes)
A progress check. We talk through what’s working, what’s been hard to stick with, and adjust the plan as needed.
Months 4–6 — Follow-Up #3 (60 minutes)
A final progress evaluation, with a look at whether any retesting or additional support would help you keep moving forward.

Comprehensive blood panel, drawn at Labcorp — a full picture of your metabolic health, hormones, nutrient levels, and inflammation markers. (Full test list below.)
Salivary hormone panel, a closer look at your adrenal and sex hormone balance.
Four appointments with Dr. Goldberg over 6 months (4 hours total), so there’s time to actually dig into your history, build your plan, and adjust it as you go:
- Initial visit (1 hour)
- Follow-up #1 at 1 month (1 hour)
- Follow-up #2 at months 2–3 (1 hour)
- Follow-up #3 at months 4–6 (1 hour)
Additional physician time behind the scenes (90 minutes), chart review, lab interpretation, and plan development before and after your visits, so nothing gets rushed or overlooked.
