Functional Medicine Package
A complete, root‑cause Functional Medicine evaluation and treatment plan focused on identifying key modifiable drivers of dis‑ease and common health complaints.
Imagine waking up with real energy, a clear head, and a body that finally feels like it’s on your side again.
If you’re reading this, chances are you already know what it’s like when that’s not your reality — the fatigue that coffee doesn’t fix, the brain fog that makes you feel like you’re moving through static, the digestive issues or stubborn weight or blood sugar creeping in the wrong direction. Maybe you’ve had bloodwork done and been told everything is “normal” — but you don’t feel normal. You feel like something is being missed.
That’s what this program is designed to do: find what’s actually driving your symptoms, and build a real plan to fix it.
Is This You?
People who come to me for Functional Medicine often say things like:
- “My labs keep coming back normal, but I don’t feel normal.”
- “I’m exhausted all the time, and no one can tell me why.”
- “I feel foggy and off, and I’m starting to think this is just how it’s going to be.”
- “I’ve been told to just manage my symptoms — I want to know what’s actually causing them.”
If any of this sounds like you, you’re in the right place.
Who Is This For?
This program is a strong fit if you’re dealing with:
- Fatigue
- Brain fog
- Insomnia
- Digestive or gut issues
- Prediabetes/diabetes or blood sugar issues
- Elevated cholesterol or difficulty losing weight
- High blood pressure
- Perimenopause/menopause symptoms
This isn't a quick fix or a one-size-fits-all supplement list. It's a structured, root-cause evaluation — built around your specific history, labs, and timeline — so the plan we build together actually addresses what's driving how you feel, not just the symptoms on the surface.
Dr. Sharon Goldberg
is a board-certified internal medicine physician (practicing since 2000) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine, trained through the Institute for Functional Medicine and certified in the Bredesen ReCODE 2.0 protocol. She spends her appointments taking notes by hand, not typing at a screen, so her full attention stays on your story.

Four appointments with Dr. Goldberg over 6 months (4 hours total)
so there’s time to actually dig into your history, build your plan, and adjust it as you go:
- Initial visit (1 hour)
- Follow-up #1 at 1 month (1 hour)
- Follow-up #2 at months 2–3 (1 hour)
- Follow-up #3 at months 4–6 (1 hour)
Additional physician time behind the scenes (90 minutes)
chart review, lab interpretation, and plan development before and after your visits, so nothing gets rushed or overlooked.
Program Timeline (4–6 Months)
Day 1 — Initial Intake (60 minutes)
We start with your full story: your medical history, the timeline of events leading up to how you feel now, a detailed physical exam, and a review of your testing. You’ll leave with an initial lifestyle plan and clear next steps for your labs.
Month 1 — Follow-Up #1 (60 minutes)
We go through your full lab results together and build your initial treatment plan — supplements, diet, lifestyle changes, and any additional testing that makes sense for you.
Months 2–3 — Follow-Up #2 (60 minutes)
A progress check. We talk through what’s working, what’s been hard to stick with, and adjust the plan as needed.
Months 4–6 — Follow-Up #3 (60 minutes)
A final progress evaluation, with a look at whether any retesting or additional support would help you keep moving forward.
What’s Not Included:
- Six-month follow-up labs (individualized based on your case)
- Any additional Functional Medicine testing beyond the intake panel — only recommended if your history or symptoms point to it, such as:
- Supplements (every patient gets a lifetime 25% off Fullscript account)

Frequently Ask Questions
Can I use insurance for the labs?
Insurance coverage for Functional Medicine testing is unreliable. Many essential tests — Vitamin D, homocysteine, iron studies, B12 — are often denied, which can lead to surprise bills of $180–$290 per test, sometimes totaling $1,500–$2,000 after insurance adjustments. Paying out of pocket is typically far less expensive and lets you know your cost upfront.
Are these all the labs I need?
This intake panel is a strong starting point for the most common concerns Functional Medicine addresses, but it’s not meant to be comprehensive. Each test is included because it directly informs your initial treatment plan. Any additional labs I recommend will depend on your history, exam, and symptoms.
What is not included?
Six-month follow-up labs, any additional specialized testing (stool, mold/mycotoxin, DUTCH, food sensitivity, tick-borne disease, parasite), supplements, and — for women, if applicable — compounded bioidentical hormones. See the full breakdown above.
Dr. Goldberg has been so incredibly helpful in my healing journey! She listens to my concerns and gets to the root cause of my health issues instead of just giving me a prescription to treat a symptom.
I have been seeing Dr. Goldberg for one year now. During this time, she has been able to not only diagnose the health issues I have been experiencing for years, but to also help me to understand and actually heal. I now feel healthy again.
